ok i didn't read the 8 pages, sue me later. i've been gone since july and missed this whole thing... When is the next run gonna be my junk is/will be ready to run again after this Sat. and i haven't wheeled since i broke her in june.

Anyone want to do a tellico run? Do some REAL wheeling? I just bought a new wheeler: Yota, 4.7 Marlin Tcase, Locked Front and Rear, 22RE on Propane, etc, etc....and want to test this thing out. Wont be able to hit URE before it closes, so who wants to do tellico (or maybe Callalantee (sp?)) sometime in janurary?

mountain city, TN. About 30 min outside of boone. Its a good trail system. Mild to wild out there. Privately owned, you can make your own trails, in fact...the owner encourages it lol.

I'm planning on going to URE Dec 2nd and 3rd. I think Larry is going and a few others. I would love to go to Tellico but I won't be ready for that in Jan. I need to get some rock sliders. How is Callalantee? I'm going to run a search on it.

Tellico is gonna be a no no if you are unlocked. Some people say you can do it...but its not worht the trip if you can only run a few trails. Callalantee is also probably a no no without a locker. There is quite a bit of stuff out there, but body damage is pretty common, as is needing a locker. With my new rig i dont need to care much about damage, so im pretty much game to wheel anywhere once i get this thing running right.

I'm not sure who all is going. I'm trying to get a head count outsise this site and on this thread. So far it looks to be about 4 trucks from this thread. I have a friend with a Jeep on 32s, He's going to try. I'm not sure!

I say we meet at either Uwharrie Hunt Camp or the Donnie Mullinix Store @ 10 Am both days. It's right down the road from the entrance and they also sell passes. Lets get a head count. So far I see Myself, Larry, SteveWes, Zhanx, and maybe Josh A. Plus whomever we get to tag along that's not on this forum.

Where is there to stay near there? And how much is it going to cost me for a hotel and passes? 10 AM is early!!! I guess I'll be leaving at 6 unless there's a cheap place to stay.
