Hey guys,
What kind of camping/outdoor mods have yall done? I'm looking for new ideas to do to mine. I don't need it for a daily driver anymore and will only be using it for fun. Thinking about taking out the backseats and putting some extra battery compartments and storage there. Any other ideas?

How do you want to sleep? How many do you need to sleep? You could build a sleeping platform with storage/drawers underneath.

Better roof rack. Then you can attach an awning for shade. And secure other gear. Or roof top tent.

Remove spare tire and put it on roof (not where I'd recommend) or on a swing out rear bumper (bingo!). Once the tire us out of the way, that will free up a ton of space underneath. Dual battery. On board air. Water tank. Plus a tire on a swing out will allow you to get a Trasharoo to keep your trash outside your rig. And you can mount other things to the bumper: lights, fuel cans, water cans......

Refrigerator.

There are some pretty nice expedition style rigs on this forums. Tons of ideas.
