just a quick question. how long does it take remove this shaft ? I've done the fuel pump and been under many times but never touched a drive shaft before.
Only takes a few minutes to remove the front driveshaft. (6) 8mm bolts near back & 4 bolts @ front holding on U-Clamps - T30 I think.
Did you ever get the noise to go away? I'm having the same problem right now. Just replaced both Hub Assemblies & driver's side CV axle, because the boot was tore & let all the grease out. Still making the whining noise. Thinking maybe its a bearing in the differential.
Anyone been through this, or got any suggestions?
