can i interchange an 04 mercury mountaineer hatch with an explorer hatch

so my back window got busted out and i was curious if the whole back hatch for the mercury mountaineer 04 was interchangeable with the an 04 ford explorer the parts look like it would work. It would be cheaper to just get the part from a salvage yard but i didn't know if it there interchangeable. any one have some input?

Yes, they will be interchangeable. Of course I cannot confirm 100% but I'd be very surprised if it didn't work so I say go for it.
