Can i put 20" rims on 1997 explorer sport?

I wonder, can i put 20" rims on my 97' Sport 2WD ofcourse, but if i put low prof tires on it, will it fit? i cant seem to find much info on the web about this, do i need a lift too? let me know guys

Just to add, most sites will have a car fit tool. You can use that... Or, go to a rim and tire shop, and they would tell you.
 






my 24s......no rubbing or cutting needed. 255/30/24 tires.....
