Can we say, "BUCCANEERS IN THE SUPER BOWL!!!"

First off, Tampa Bay is a long way from San Diego, literally and figuratively. Nobody talks Super Bowl until you get there. You don't have to be real old to remember the last wildcard team to win a Super Bowl, let alone get in the game. There's been a lot of talk about it in Tampa Bay for half a decade. You see my point? Talk all you want when you get there, pal. I'd say they have a shot at it, but they're not packing bags yet.

Second, my reference to the age of 25 comes from the illustrious Warren Sapp himself. After the game, this is what he said to the media in the locker room about Packers coach Mike Sherman. "He's lucky I'm not 25 without kids and a conscience, or I would have given him an asswhipping right there." I'm impressed you can do math, though, being from Canada and all.

And last, but certainly not least, please only respond to me if you can demonstrate some sort of logical reasoning. Your "line from work" doesn't impress me. To be more effective in the delivery, be sure you know more than the person you're talking to. Otherwise you just look like an ass.

The way I see it, Tampa has three games left. One is against Detroit, another against Chicago, and one against Pittsburg. Only the Steelers present a challenge, and a small one at that. The Lions and Bears are easy games. So assuming everything goes well (I've seen stranger things happen), the Bucs will have a 13-3 record. That's pretty good. Yes, the Bucs have dropped the ball (literally) in the playoffs before, but I don't hink they'll do that this year. They are a much better team. The offense does leave much to be desired, but the defense more than makes up for it.

Yeah, the Bucs will be in the Super Bowl. I'm confident of that. It's called team spirit. You can't call yourself a fan if you don't beleive your team can do it. Yes, I've been saying "This year..." for 22 years now, but this yea they finally have a real chance of doing it. Better than anyone else, at least.

Oh, and Bashman, I'm older than I look. I know those cheerleaders becuase they are the daughters of a friend of the family. And the one that couches my younger cousin in dance... well my cousin is 17 years younger than me. Don't worry, I'm looking for my own rocking chair.

Considering the remainder of TB's schedule, yea, they should win them. Don't be surprised to see some trick plays from the Bears. The Lions probably won't present a real threat. Steelers might, but like you said, not much.

There's a difference between believing your team can do it, and saying they will do it. What percentage of your net worth are you willing to wager? That's a good measure of your confidence level. Will your wife agree to your wager? Haha.

All I can say is the NFC will send a good team to San Diego. I don't think the playoffs will be easy for any of them.

Well, since I'm still a student, I really don't have much of net worth to speak of, so any bet would really be my wife's net worth. She's always up for a bet, but, like I said, as it would pretty much be her net worth involved, she'd probably be less thrilled.

And actually I do have a bet on the Bucs. At the sports betting places at the casinos in Vegas, you can place a futures bet. I have bets on the Miami Hurricanes (wife's college), and on the Bucs. The odds on the Canes wasn't that high, but it'll at least be 2:1 so I can't loose. AS for the Bucs, I don't remember the exact odds on the bet, but I really don't hink I'll loose on that one either. I'll le you know exactly how much I won later. :D

There goes home field advantage:(

Hey Bucs Fans, congratulations. NFC South Champions! Break out the celebratory hats and T-Shirts!

Oops, I guess my timing is a little off tonight. :)

Yes, tonight was really, really sad. The Bucs were pitiful. But no problem. We're in the playoffs no matter what. They'll just have to regroup.

On a funny side note, I told my brother that if he got drunk enough at the game, I'd give him $50 to run out on the field and give Warren Sapp a hug. So when they announced some nut was running around the field, I thought to myself, "Crap! I'm out 50 bucks!" Fortunately, even though he was drunk enough, he didn't go through with it, so I ge to keep the money. The poor guy that did run out there got creamed by eight cops at once...

That's two pitiful weeks in a row, man. It's funny how it goes from "super bowl this season" to "at least we're in the playoffs" in a matter of weeks. Only in the NFL, I guess. As always, it takes all 16 games to determine who's who. Actually, Cincinatti is pretty much a lock to stay where they are. For another few years.

What'd 'ya think of Warren's cheap shot in this game?

Yes I said that "at least we are in the playoffs" but I was also still confident. The Bucs have a good enough record where they can still loose the next game as well and still be in the playoffs. I have no concerns about them taking it all in the post season.

If I had money, it would be on the Eagles. Really kicking arse this year. The Bucs will be my prime concern, but I am an Eagles fan. Either way, it's about time for one of these two teams to win a SB. Hopefully, the Birds will pull through and take the cake.

Okay football fans, here's a question. Can any of you explain to me what exactly a pick is, in terms of NFL receivers? Not the slang term for interception, but the action of interfering with a defender to "free up" another receiver, right?

And, are they illegal?

It must be nice having Cable. I'm going to get my rabbit ears out of the garage so I can see what's going on...[I've been a little too fiscally Conservative I guess]

Bye, Bye, Bye, the Bucs boot the Bears and say Bye, Bye, Bye to the first round.

15-0

Never say never.....

LOL - let's be honest, did you expect anything less? Let's just say the Bears have some great draft picks now ;)

The Chargers had a great draft slot a few years ago, too. Two words...Ryan Leaf. Gotta love the positive attitude, though.

15-0 thats horrible! How many FGs did they kick? 4 OR 5? A Team will not go anywhere in the playoffs if they can not score touchdowns.

15/3 = 5 Field goals

All State - Mathematics, First Team
All Conference - Mathematics, First Team
All American - Smart Ass, First Team

Gotta love linemen. Seriously. I was a quarterback in HS. Linemen make quarterbacks like me look good. Just trying to be funny. ;)

:) funny stuff man.... no worries, we love our quarterbacks.

The new math...

15-0=W

And any team, anywhere, will take a W to the bank anyday; even a 2-0 ( and there was no TD there either ).
