Can't get rid of Wrench Light

Truck starts fine, idles fine, shifts fine in all gears, and drives just fine. Problem is randomly (and sometimes I can force it to happen) I get a wrench light sometimes with a Service Engine Soon light and sometimes without. 4x4 seems to work fine, I can put it in 4 high and 4 low. I never use 4 low and leave it in Auto 99.9% of the time.

Has happened during idle, cruise, light acceleration as well as heavy acceleration. Can happen cold or warm. Goes into Forced limited mode which cuts power but otherwise drives fine.

If it's just the wrench it goes away if I cycle the truck on and off, but comes back anywhere from 50ft to 50 miles later. Lately I seem to get it once or twice a day.

Generic reader shows P2106 and P0606 only.

Bought a USB reader and used FORscan to get the messages below. The same codes with the exception of the P1812 show up with no wrench or SES light.

I've only owned it for a few thousand miles. The previous owner did take good care of it and replaced a lot of stuff over the years.

Since I've bought it I've done the following:
Deleted balance shaft chain (BS tensioner had failed) and recovered broken plastic and metal leaf from girdle.
Replaced primary crank to jackshaft tensioner (didn't fail but since I was in there...)
Replaced both hydraulic tensioners
Replaced the Crank Position Sensor and the Harmonic Balancer.
Replaced the Throttle position sensor on the TB and cleaned the TB.
Changed all fluids (F&R diffs including friction modifier in rear, coolant, transfer case, trans fluid, oil)
Serp belt + idler + tensioner
UCA's which I disconnected the ABS wires and forgot to plug them back in.

I've also checked all fuses, and checked for bad grounds and frayed wires.

At this point I'm out of ideas. Was hoping to get a year or two out of this and pass it along to my brother, but I'm really starting to not trust it. It's never left me stranded but this wrench/SES stuff is really annoying me.

Check of all systems is not complete since last memory clear.

--Possible Causes--
	- The vehicle is new from the factory and has not yet been through a complete OBD Drive Cycle.
	- The battery or PCM has been disconnected.
	- An OBD monitor failure had occurred prior to completion of an OBD Drive Cycle.
	- The PCM DTCs have been cleared as part of a service process.

Note: The only way P1000 can be cleared (removed) from memory is when all of the OBD monitors have been successfully completed during normal vehicle operation.

P1000 cannot be cleared from the PCM when: 1. The thermostat is stuck open and a DTC is not generated. 2. There is an open VSS circuit and a DTC is not generated. 3. If the vehicle has a Power Take Off (PTO), the circuit is shorted to VPWR or B+, or the PTO is ON during Self-test.

The purpose of the Diagnostic Trouble Code DTC P1000 is to indicate that not all of the On Board Diagnostics OBD monitors have yet been successfully completed.  You may also refer to the OBD Drive Cycle defined under the Powertrain Control/Emission Diagnosis Manual-Diagnostic Methods or the Owner's Manual.

Remember: It is not necessary to remove P1000 from the Powertrain Control Module PCM by driving the vehicle.

DTCs that start with 'U' are faults which occur during module-to-module communication.

Modules should never be replaced based only on a 'U' code. These codes do not always indicate a problem, and can be caused by normal diagnostic functions, carried out on the vehicle.

Maybe it's the pcm...? I read somewhere where this one guy had the same issue and replaced a pcm (no sure which one) but it fixed all the issues with the malfunctioning computer setting a false reading.
 






I'm assuming you reset the PCM after all this work on the throttle body and stuff? Simple suggestion if you haven't done it since you did all the work.

I did not do a specific PCM clearing. TPS instructions did not note that was needed. I will try this today: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZAsoqmqhdM

I did have the battery disconnected for awhile but I don't remember for how long. The TPS and CPS work spanned 2 days because I drained the battery enough from not driving it and working on it that it would not crank. After swapping parts back and forth to no avail I let it sit overnight and had an epiphany the next morning and hooked up my battery jumper and it started right up.
 






PCM clearing did not help. I also tried a new TC shift motor which also did not help. It actually stalled on me for the first time ever during my ~60 mile test drive (not the first drive since PCM clearing, was the second after I did the re-learn). Happened during a right turn. As I straightened out and gave it a little gas as this was a slightly hilly road it just stalled. Tossed in N and it would not restart while moving. Made it to the top of the hill and got on the small shoulder. Turned key off and it then started fine.

So it very well could be the PCM itself. I'm guessing that's a dealer only kind of replacement?
