So what products are you guys using for wash, wax, etc? Also, what is working best for you for dash cleaning/protection and leather care? Thanks!

Another poster on this site suggested these guys so I emailed Greg the owner of Detailed Image and this is what I got for a response.

They are very helpful, as I was concerned about filling up the seat A/C holes.

My process for perforated seats with heat/ac is basically the same as other seats I'm just more conservative with the amount of product I use. I personally love the results of the Leatherique Prestine Clean and Rejuvenator Oil. It's an amazing combo that deep cleans and conditions any leather surface. Instead of using a lot of product all at once I'm more likely to keep applying a thinner amount of product multiple times, as needed. If you want the absolute best results I highly recommend following the basic outline of this write up - http://www.detailedimage.com/Ask-a-Pro/leatherique-leather-care-how-to/. If your seats are new or if you don't have time you can skip the heating option and just wait about one hour, instead of multiple hours. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

OMG you own detailedimage? I have been buying all my cleaning products from you, mainly learned from Todd @ myG37.com

Sorry, bad post layout on my part. Greg is the owner who replied to my request for info.

Check these websites out

I just realize that the cheap stuff I have been using won't cut it.

Though Mothers, Meguiar's, etc are great products be open to others. Due to the economy there are some real deals out there. I have reset up my garage and have found that buying the supplies by the gallon is the way to go.

Protect your investment!

First website: http://www.griotsgarage.com/

This guy has everything you need. I have ordered many of these products all high quality.

The Carnauba Wax Stick is one of my favorites.

The speed shine with the rags is awesome. I park during the day under pine trees - it takes the bird crap, tree sap, etc right off and protects the finish of the explorer.

Second website: http://www.autogeek.net/

These guys review all the other products.

Keep an eye on Amazon.com - they are dumping good quality microfiber rags, drying towels, etc.

Look at this link and consider the price - no tax and free shipping!!

Third Site: http://www.lucasoilonline.com/products/Lucas Car Care

These guys are sweet! They set up on their website special pricing for purchases by the case and 1/2 case. Lucas Oil quality is all I have to say...

Hope this helps.

Sgt1411 is correct..

Forgot to mention - Leatherique Pristine Clean and Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil

"Leatherique Pristine Clean and Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil work with a capillary action. The proteins, cleaners, and conditioners find their way deep into the natural pores of the leather and force out the dirt, perspiration, air pollution, and other toxins that dry out and destroy the fibers of the leather, depleting the fibers strength and flexibility, and causing them to deteriorate. Perspiration, and the salts left after its evaporation, easily find their way into the leather fibers. Notice on an older car, the areas where a person rests their hands or arms, steering wheel, arm rests break down the quickest."

Worth every ounce.

Get the weathertech mats all four sets. Then obtain a dashmat. You will be set.
