I think it would be safe to say that a lot of people have trouble cleaning the top of their ex's if they was it themselves. Does anyone have any good recommendations for some kind of cleaning accessory with a stick? I am a bit hesitant to use a "brush" stick as some people have said they cause swirl marks. Thanks in advance.

I had bought the telescoping pole at advanced auto a year or 2 ago. It didn't last long :(
My 97 has running boards, step bumper, and big tires to stand on. Since you're 5th gen isn't as blessed (and it's bigger) I'd suggest you try all the telescoping poles you can. Ladder probably wouldn't hurt either.

Good luck

On my Bimmer, or Vette I can reach the other side of the roof no problem, but with the truck I bought a 3 step aluminum ladder, and an extendable pole with a micro fiber mop on the end. Works great.
I'll get a pic of the mop tomorrow.

I use one of these...

I use a small Step Ladder

I bought a small 2 step ladder at wal mart and load it in the car when I head to the car wash.

Ditto. Step ladder helps to wash, dry, wax on and wax off. No brainer.
