Just do a search on it. Type in dash, carbon fiber, etc etc

I remember seeing pics but it has been a while.

i say make your own.
you can totally change the look of your interior by customizing it the way you want it. you can make a fiberglass dash and door panels, paint them howerver you want, and put carbon fiber wherever you want. i made one that i painted a deep metallic red, and i put carbon fiber around the edges and on the instrument cluster. you have to be careful with wires around the carbon fiber, since it conducts electricity.

if you need the materials to do it yourself, check out www.selectproducts.com they have just about anything you would need to do a really cool install.

Thanks leenjen, i'm not very good at building stuff myself lol, but i'll definetely check it out!

huh? I think that was alittle off topic wasn't it? slick, if I remember correctly, I think I saw a carbon fiber kit on troll's pictures, but I'm not sure.. its been a LONG time. if you have 95 or up (can't see the info while posting) if you have 94 or down I saw a ride on www.sounddomain.com with a closeup of his HU with a carbon fiber kit on.. it looks pretty good but the idea of a stick on bezel cover just seems too cheap to me.. I was planning on having mine painted dark grey to give my interior a 2 tone look, but thats not in the near future :P

Back to the original topic....

Slick, did you find a kit for the explorer?

i saw a couple on ebay, but i dont think they look that great.

are kits worth the money?

I've been looking for a kit for some time now and have spoke to all the manufactures. My explorer is black and the interior is black and grey. I want to find a formed kit in Black/Grey Burl wood grain. I can find the stickers in B/G Burl and I can find formed kits, but not in B/G Burl just brown and Carbon Fiber, Aluminum. I am thinking about Aluminum but I am going to hold out for the kit I want. Try Dead Link Removed and Dead Link Removed Both have nice kits. I think that Wood Dash Factory makes the kits for all the other companys from my research.

This is the Black/Grey grain I am looking for:

This is the molded pieces I want:

if it's a nice kit, then yes its worth the money.
if it's crap, then no. it's as simple as that. it depends on whether you want to change the look of your interior.

nice!! I love that marble burl!! I'm going to have to look into that.. I came up with a concept drawing in corel about that a wihle back..I love that look! thast exactly what I want for my interior..

I have the B&I burlwood dash kit and i love it. check my site for pics.

Sideswipe...Nice ride!! Absolutely love the interior!

thanks glc. Now I'm trying to Zaino the exterior and have a problem with blotchiness in the paint finish since I applied it. Have you seen anything like this? it only occured on the doors though..weird...
