Cargo area lighting upgrade?

I installed a dome light with a push-button switch in the rear tailgate, as well as two eyeball lights that I can re-focus as needed on either side. (I'm a photographer and often work in the field at night under my hatch and in the cargo area). The dome light on its own produces more than enough light in the cargo area as well as on the ground behind the vehicle. The lights are wired into the existing dome light circuit in the vehicle, so power is available to them immediately once the vehicle is unlocked.

For those that don’t feel comfortable doing this, you might try this.

I did the full interior & exterior led upgrade and went with the Drive Bright Leds for the Puddle & rear interior dome lights. So happy I did, those also included bulbs for the front dome lights and rear cargo light, as well as license plate bulbs. I got the reverse lights and the vanity bulbs on ebay.

Now to add leds into the glovebox and console, since there's nothing from the factory!
