So I figured out what im doing with the money. The GreenBeast's flywheel spun out again, due to a faulty starter from autozone. (Its a long story.) So Im gonna fix that for about $150. But in the mean time ill drive my dad's 2008 f150 (he's in Houston working because there's no jobs in North Carolina) right? Wrong. It needed brakes. So another $100. Father's Day is coming up, and because he's broker than sh*t he has to work until July 4th, and he hasn't gotten to do the mods he wants on his ride. So I had a glass pack, custom tailpipe and stainless tip installed $163, and he cut me a deal because it was a gift. It was originally like $215 because its ALL stainless. He said its the best gift he's heard of in a long time. But don't tell him. It sounds amazing. Btw if you know of any cell tower jobs in NC let me know because he hates Houston. :)

Good man, that was money well spent.:D

Thanks i hope he enjoys it. Hes coming home on friday and he'll be here for my 18th birthday.

Does anybody know what the torque is for the flywheel bolts? Im trying to fix the explorer so dad and i can head down to the coast for a fishing trip.

That is a great way to spend some of the cash and also a great fathers day gift i dont know the specs offhand but if someone has a hayes manual for a first gen it has it in there...safn is right start saving i dont mean you cant have some fun with it but you want a nice cushon for the future...i wish someone would have given me that advice a couple of years ago...

The Ford factory service manual says first stage,9 to 11 ft lbs. Second stage is 50 to 55 foot lbs. This applies to both standard and auto tranny:D

Ok i got the new flywheel on and tomorrow im gonna reconstruct the beast. And do a transmission fluid change too. Ive got my buddy dylan helping me tomorrow so it should go more smoothy. Ill take some pics too. :)
