center console

I have a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT and the A/C only blows hot air except when in Max A/C, then I get a small amount of cooling. I need to remove the center console (with rear heat and radio controls) but cannot seem to get it loose. I could use some help explaining where all the fasteners might be.

Once you get the 4 bolts out get a block of wood and a hammer and place the wood on the black bracket and hit it with the hammer or you can sit in the back seat and try and pull it out just to let you know it is not easy to get out. When I took mine out I was hitting the block of wood pretty and I for sure thought there was more bolts holding it in. But I just had to hit it a little harder. Hope this helps and good luck
