Changer Question

My factory changer had this square like connector, and this alpine chm 6 disk ('95) has a circular one, can i buy an adaptor at radio shack? what needs to be done to get this new changer to work with my alpine 7863 hu? thanks

Which changer are you trying to get to work with the Alpine Radio. The factory or the 6 disc Alpine. What are the 3 letters in front of the model number CDA,CDM,TDA or TDM. You have a M buss CD changer. If your headunit is a CDA ot TDA it will not work with it. The M stands for M buss and the A for AI-Net.
You will not be able to make the factory changer work with the Alpine radio

Just wonderful, I have a cda 7893 and a cda 7863, so which changer do i need?
