changing fuel filter in 97 V8?

Is there only one filter to change in my 97 XLT V8? Is it the Can type thing underneath? What it the normal change interval? I have about 85K on it, and it was changed around 30K.

There is a special tool required, I think you can buy it at autozone/pep boys, etc.
