Changing Fuel Filter Today...

I have a set of the plastic ones that says to use the 3/8 tool for Ford fuel line fittings. Worked like a charm. Try the bigger one.

Well I am flying out to Columbus Ohio Tuesday evening.
Well, me personally, I am not flying, I am getting on a plane and the plane is flying. What have you.

Any way, PM me or what have you. I will be at the shop Tuesday till 3:30 - 4:PM, but I have keys and I can get in there any time, and get that kit.

These are the ones i've tried and no worky for me.

Monmix i might hit you up and ask if i can borrow those tools or even just do it like in a parking lot near by if you don't want me going far with the tools i understand but i just gotta figure the next time i have a day off i usually work 12pm to 10pm

Some of Fords clips are hard to remove. I've spent 20 minutes before on a customers Expedition (but those are also in a VERY tight spot). I just relieve the pressure by unscrewing the gas cap. Pop the clips and you let it drain a little into a oil drain, then remove the filter. It gets fuel on your hands and maybe your arms a little, but I find it easier. Most late model GMs have a 20mm nut on the filter and a 16mm line nut that connect together on both sides of the filter and those are a lot nicer, I think. But then again, GM now has made their filters in-tank. More INFO here!
