Changing the Shift Solenoids in a 1994 Explorere

After speaking with various people about my shifting issues with 3-4 and OD, it is now time to attack the solenoids. How tough is it to do the 3-4 and the OD shift solenoid while the transmission is in the truck?

I have pulled the top access panel before, but that was for the modulator.

Shift solenoids are in the valve body. Basically, you remove the valve body, then replace the solenoids. You might review the A4LD valve body rebuild thread.
