Hi,
So I had a wheel bearing replaced (I think the ABS sensor was disconnected to get it on a joist) and when I got the car back the Advtrac light flashes on start up, then eventually an error pops up saying 'check advtrac', then the light is on constantly.
The error code from the diagnostic was C-1998-0E ABS with a 'Calibration module failure' message.

Does anyone know what this means, or how to clear it?

Perform Integrated Vehicle Dynamics (IVD) Calibration. You need to find someone with a ford scanner (vcm2) to do the job.

Thanks. It was the Ford dealership that did the work. They just plugged the scanner in now, but didn't know what the code meant...
Do you know what it is they need to do exactly? Or does running the IVD fix it?
I think the guy was saying he doesn't think it's related to the work they did...but the light has never been on before...hmmm.

They have to go into the abs menu and run the IVD calibration. Then they will need to turn the wheel lock to lock. That will take care of it
