Hello Again.
Last week I had an overheat problem which turned out to be the T Stat. I left the T Sat out put everthing back together ,leak tested it and drove it home. I was broke down 45 miles from home. I continued to drive it this way without a problem. My daughter drove it to Dallas from Houston where she is going to school and the temp gage was stable.
This morning she called and said while going to school which is a 15 min drive that her check engine and check gage lights came on. The temp gage and oil pressure gages read ok, no low on oil or running hot on the temp gage.
Could this problem be a result of no T Stat installed causing the engine to run below normal in temp and the sensor thinking something wrong?
