Man...I cant read the post by the arsehole but man I would Be Pissed!!!

i'm speechless.

What a smug little Pri*k. He even said that if he ruined something he would have to fix it anyway and probably get paid for it.

My God MAN!! How bout that, "uh let's test drive this, break some sh@t and then charge the customer for it. hahaha!"

Yup, I'd have that guys job and the service managers job in one hand and 1 foot in each of their arses.

That is no way to treat a customer who pays your salary.

I worked for Carmax last summer as the inventory guy, so I drove nearly all the cars on the lot, as well as customer cars to either find the problem (poor fuel econ, lack of power, mysterious rattles, etc.) and I NEVER drove any of those cars hard, not even the Porsche Boxster, or the SVT Cobras we had. I drove each of those cars like they were my own. Except for the golf carts, then we drove them all at their limits, that was fun!

The only car I damaged was a 2001 Tahoe, I kinda introduced the rear 1/4 panel to a concrete light pole that was hiding in the blind spot at 2 mph. that did $700 bucks of damage right there.

Some people did come in with their Cobras and Saleen Mustangs and requested that no one drive them, and 9 times out of 10 we honored that unless it had to go to the dealer to fix, then either I (my boss knows I drive like an old man a lot of times) or my boss drove the car.

That guy is an a$$ and deserves any reprocussions he gets.

OOOOOHHHHH man, it would be time to rumble. I would get that guy from the WWF to say "lets get ready to rumble" and all, i would go all out on this kid. That dealer is gonna have a fun next few months

This dumbass got fired

Go on that link and check that out. That link will link you to another forum but its quite interesting. It will take a while to load since that site has been getting many hits. In the past 2 hours it got 4000 hits.

To make a long story short some lady with a SVT mustang brought her mustang to the dealer saying it had a lack of power. The tech took it out up to 140mph and beat on it and then went on a forum and bragged about it. He even posted her liecence plate. She found out about that forum and reported him to the dealership and he got fired. If you have time to wait for the page to load up it is worth it .... very interesting stuff.

That first link will take you to a forum which the OWNER POSTED. the link she has is the forum post where the TECH posted. Look at his signature now ... LMAO .... it now states "unemployed dumbass"

Whoooooooo damn..... that guy better watch out! I've been reading over those posts (you have to give them A LOT of time to load) and I guess this is reaching tons of message boards (like 20) and thousands of people are reading it. They even posted the Dealer's site so you could call and give 'em hell....

hehehehehhe

I would be so pissed off I wouldn't know what to do!!!

You can't even access the SVT one past the first page... lol

That is some interesting stuff to read!

someone already posted this on this site.

oops ... guess i should go through earlier posts. Here i was thinking i was cool being the first one to post this and you just shoot me down. Dont worry my self esteem didnt go down too much although it did hurt me a little. :D

That happened to me once. I took the Explorer in to get the right front ball bearings replaced (I believe that was it). I dropped it off with 4 or 5 miles on the trip odometer since I had just filled it up. I got it back with 72 or so miles AND a bank deposit slip from the serviceman's bank. I was pissed. I called the dealership, told them, then went back with my gas receipt and his bank deposit slop. In the end they gave me a free full service (that full tune up, etc. thing) for the trouble. Not sure what happened to the guy, though.

I think we should all email that dealership as Ford owners!

:chug:

I posted a message on their service form.

Here's the contact info I got from the www.SVTperformance.com thread:

General Manager - Jim Thompson - jthompson@nsford.com

Or post a message on their Service webpage...

Man oh man. I would be damn pissed. Luckly I live in a small town where theres only one lifted 2nd gen Explorer. Plus, who would want to joyride my truck??

I can't believe that thread has made it so far around the net. There are nearly 800 people logged on to the SVT site right now and the thread has 48,000 views! Crazy!

i've been reading the thread for the past couple of hours now. the tech guy made a poor decision in abusing a property that doesn't belong to him. i'd be upset to if it were my car. if i were the cobra owner, i would not accept a free warranty from the dealer ever again. who knows what they will do next time. a free '03 Cobra would be a much better choice.

The thread on the SVT site is still there... I was actually able to register and post a reply and show the support of Explorerforum!! My name is the same as it is on here...
