hey i was wondering if there was any custom tuners out there for the explorer. id like to get a chip but with some mods that id like to get i was wondering if some one made custom chips for these mods. i own a 01 Lightning and alot o ftuners custom burn for them any one for the Explorers and Rick Horwitz if you read this give me a email id like to get in touch with you. thanks for any help. later

im pretty sure that superchips will burn a custom chip for you. www.superchips.com

Rippin, welcome to the site. Tbomb is right, Superchips will burn custom chips for you. If you do decide on a chip from Superchips, try contacting Chris at www.smartyparts.com , they give a discount to members of this site. Most basic mods (air filter, plug wires, muffler, etc) will not require a custom chip. It's not until you get into the bigger mods like headers, that a custom chip may be the way to go.
