Has anyone purchased the Clear Corners from Explorer Express? Are they less likely to yellow over time like I have heard that others do? I would think that the EE corners would be a better product because of the $75.00 price over the $30.00 on Ebay. Please advise if you have any experience with the EE Clear Corners.

Thanks!:D

I have had my E-Bay clear corners for several months.
No yellow.

CLEAR YOUR STOCK ONES!!!! they won't yellow like aftermarket CC's..i did mine..very glad i did!!

i bought mine on procarparts.com for 44.99 and have had them for 7 months with no yellowing

the ONLY WAY to avoid the yellowing , that happens [eventually] to all aftermarket/cpoies/knock-offs is to get oem, period.

they are available from down under or europe on 2 gen x's.

the yellowing is from using a lower quality/ cheaper plastic.

there is a guy named 'sarek' that has a line on these for 2nd and 3rd gen ex's. he has a buddy in austrailia.

it only work's on 95-01's..you cut a slit on the back of the light where the orange reflector is..pull it out and seal it up with silicon(?)

The link to the clear corner mod is here ;)

Just because they're more expensive doesn't mean that they're more quality. In fact they are the exact same product.

I'm thinkin' its time to find a set of OEM corners and do the mod if you wan't them to be clear clearcorners. :)

Do you have a link for that? I would like clear corners myself, so why not get OEM clears? How do I get them? Long drive from Texas to Australia.

Or does someone know of a web site here in the US that sells OEM clears?

I have no idea where to find them.

It would probably be really expensive to have OEM clears shipped over from another country, so it would be best to make your own. Some foreign explorers had them, but in the U.S. there are no OEM clears. There were never clears that were Origional Equipment on U.S. Explorers, so you must do the mod to make your own OEM quality clearcorners :(

You already have a set on your truck, but I personally would want to buy some in case I had to take them off in the future.

ALL non-u.s. spec explorers have clear corners.
