Nothing too special but I was really able to test how the locker works when the Explorer is fully articulated. Overall it did a nice job.

That's it. Only thing that is a bit bittersweet is that even though I was really careful I think I damaged the passenger side CV joint seal on reinstallation of the halfshafts. It could just be overfilled but I doubt it. Looks like I will have to replace the seal I just hope that I don't have to drop the whole diff to do that.

This would have been the winter to use it here. Did you have to take the rear out to install the locker or can it be installed without taking it out? I would like to install one the wife's ex. I have read the Spartan will fit without any modification.

The rear diff does have to come out unfortunately.
To take it out it isn't hard by any means... But it will take about 4 hours to install the locker. Just time consuming unfortunately. That being said the locker is awesome! Took the spider gears out and assembled the locker in place really really simple! No adjustments or anything. Just used a set of feeler gauges and measured one tolerance they said to in the directions and in was perfect. Reassembled and it's golden. Locks up nice but is tame enough for street use. Only thing is Sandy roads do let it lock in a little and skip the inside tire but you get used to it I isn't a big deal. If you have any more questions post em here or PM me.

Just some footage of me messing around with it

This is great I love it and I'm sure you do too. Quick question though only because it isn't listed under the specs. Are you a 2wd, 4wd, or bwm 4wd?

I like to call things like that affectionately the "buckle up switch" it sounds more pleasant for the feminine riders of the vehicle. Plus it keeps them guessing as to why they have to buckle up.

I like it! I want to put in one of those aircraft style ones where you flip the cover off the switch and the switch is under it. Then have one on there side so they can switch it hehehe right before I send it sideways slinging dirt!
