Hi, I used to post a lot on this forum years ago but really haven't had issues I couldn't figure out until recently.
My remote start hasn't worked for over a year and due to it being so cold I thought I'd take a look at it yesterday.
It did appear that the remote start would make an several attempts to work, and would adjust the seat prior to a start request.
I do have power going to the PATS bypass module, but it won't crank. It would crank with a key held close to the ignition so I thought I would have to reprogram the bypass. When trying to reprogram, It does recognize the remote control because the lock and unlock functions still work, but it no longer moves the seat and chirps twice if I attempt remote start. The red light by the headlight switch (not dash anti theft) light constantly gives 2 blinks always.
I have had all the wiring off of the code alarm module and replaced a blown 15 amp fuse.
Any idea why this light blinks twice & why incantation get it to crank?
