i'll need to take it back to autozone

OK, if you don't mind, disconnect the battery ground wire-for about 10 minutes.
Then drive until Check engine light returns, and recheck at autozone.

That is quite a list.
Can you clear them, and see which ones return??

the truck is on the way to autozone now to see. i'll get back to you in a few. thanks

the truck also acts like it doesn't want to take off sometimes and then clears up or something and takes right off. what could this be? thanks

ok, here's the codes. po340, po402, and p1151

p-0340= camshaft position sensor--definitely check this.
It may just be dirty inside the sensor cap.

P0402= EGR flow fault. Could be a disconnected vacuum line to egr regulator?
dirty-sticking egr valve-or egr sensor.

p1151 is a heated o2 sensor fault. I believe it indicates a bank 1 02 sensor 1 fault, could be a bad sensor,

can someone post pics up of where i can find these things? i'll need pics or a 96 awd v-8. thanks for the help

The camshaft position sensor is directly below the coil packs.
It takes the place of a small block ford distributor.

The egr components are to the rear of the throttle body--
I think 410fortune has a picture--if he sees this he will surely post it up for you.
