I just got some 33's for my X and it only has a 3'' body lift, so I need some more lift in the front so they wont rub as much, now, everyone says f-150 spacers are the spacers to get, but do I get em for a new f-150, or a 92 f-150, where can I get em? Any information would be awesome, I would do all new, bigger springs, but my finances are strictly limited...

thanks a lot

I just picked up the F150 coil spacers last week from the Ford dealership here in Michigan. My parts ran $16.85 for one side and $23.95 for the other. I still haven't installed them because I'm fighting rear frame bushings right now so I can replace my shackles with lift shackles.

Is it necessary to get the extender studs?

Not with f150 spacers. Those poly ones from ebay are 2"s probably, then you may need the exension. I got mine off a junk yard f150 for 18 bucks or so.

What year F-150 for I look for when I got to the junkyard to fit my 93? Thanks Victor

Mid 90's F150 2WD. As long as it has beams it'll have these seats.

I put on the 2" spacers and the extender stud is not needed, actually made it too long..

Yes and no.:D

If you are 4X4 then no you are good,...

But if you are 2 wheel drive then Yes you will need longer bolts.

Put mine on yesterday along with some shackles in the rear. The Ford dealer didn't have them and none of the local yards had any so I went to my brother-in-laws salvage company. They had 2 mid 90's F-150's. So the spring spacers cost me nothing. The wife's expression when I had the front end apart in the driveway that was priceless. The lift cost me roughly 31.00 and two days of labor. Pics are up under shackles. Vic

i would like to see pics....of which spacers you installed

PM if your interested in buying my poly spacers..2in coil lift

I'm getting ready to install the F150 coil spring spacers mentioned earlier. Once installed, does this change front end alignment, and/or should new alignment be done?

yes, your camber will be way off...i read somewhere of someone adding the spacers and not doing the alignment....bad idea for your tires and your safety...the alignment with parts will be about 150 bucks....also, you might want to be lifting your rear at the same time as your spacers and before your alignment...
