so the soon to be wife says i cant do the York Compressor...cause she wants the ac fixxed instead....but she still wants OBA...so I have to go with an electric setup and fix my evaporator.....its not so bad really...id like to have ac again.

You could always fab up a hood "bubble". Cut a hole in the hood just where you need it then make a small metal cup to go over it. Bend to fit - paint to match.

that was my first idea but i think id rather fab up a cowl hood....depending on where the compressor sticks up.
