Compass stuck or broken?

It would appear as though my compass has died or is near death. The indicator always seems to point to NW no matter what direction the vehicle is pointing. Has anyone else had their compass die? Does anyone know how to remedy this?

Have you tried "resetting" it? There is a procedure on how to do it in your Owner's manual. I had the same problem and just resetting it fixed it.

Hey, thanks! I followed the calibration process in the owner's manual and that fixed the problem. Apparently, it sometimes gets out of calibration when your vehicle is in the presence of a large magnetic disturbance such as from a nearby lightning strike or being nearby high voltage electrical lines.
