I know people are always asking about LEDs for their explorer and i decide to make a list for the 02-05 model.

Front Map Lights - (2) 44mm Festoon bulbs
Middle Dome Lights - (3) 44mm Festoon bulbs
Rear Dome Light - (1) 44mm Festoon bulbs
License Plate LIghts - (2) 194 bulbs
Puddle Lights Side Mirrors (2) 194 bulbs
Reverse Lights - (2) 3156 bulbs

Low beam headlights - 9006
High beam headlights - 9005
fog lights - h10/9145

Do you're interior lights keep glowing even when they're off?

I replaced all of my interior lights with these.

They emit a glow even when the interior switch is off. From what I read it's because the resistance is much lower than the incandescent bulbs.

My LEDs do not glow like that Barry. But one thing I do get is the cheap LED bulbs fail early and start to flicker during use. I have on order all new ones $$$$ hopefully they will last.

I'll have to check mine, i have never noticed any type of glow when they are off but i'll double check.

No glow from my complete upgrade either.
