Confused about write-up

This write-up says for 97-03 explorers, i have a 96, this wirte-up is the same for them too right?

Where does it say "Explorers"? I see F-150 in the title:

"How to replace the ball joints on your 97-03 F-150 4X4"

Last I checked, the F-150 is a different beast with little crossover with the Ex.

dang your right, well i found this link in one of the ball joint posts after doing a search, well is it the same? this is the only detailed write up i have found and i searched through the forum for hours

Same process, different torques.

The front end on the F-150 is basically just an up-sized version of that on the Explorer/Ranger. Some differences, but very similar in design.

thanks for the help! i like to get a detailed enough write-up before i start something, cause the manuals and cd's are way to vague and unless you are an experienced mechanic, they do nothing for you but confuse you with a bunch of words u dont understand
