Okay, I have put this off long enough. A few years back a friend of mine replaced the blower motor on my 2001 Ltd Ed. Blower worked great...but the controls in the steering wheel quit working. The CC, the horn and the radio controls, all of it. BUT the horn works when i use the remote and the radio works. I have checked the fuses and relays they all say they are good. If it was the clockspring I figured the airbag light would be acting up but it doesn't. And i don't understand the correlation to the blower motor and these controls or the clockspring. Any and all help is appreciated. I just want to try and get this fixed finally.

Check mini fuse 10 under the hood. Your fuse and relay box may be a bit different than the one I have illustrated here, which is from 1998.

As you can see from the chart, several fuses "cross protect"

Check them all again, I bet you'll find something blown.
