Does anyone know what this connector is on my 2020 XLT. it looks like it’s for something but is just plugged into itself

It’s on the drivers side of the engine bay

It may just appear as though it's plugged into itself but where do the cable ends go?

Looks like it goes behind the fuse panel and connects to a bigger harness

Nice. Thank you

It's an unencrypted CANBUS connection point. It's used on the emergency vehicle side, but I'm not sure what Ford's intent for the plug was. Maybe a connection point for one of their tools.

I assume it’s not a usable point for anything consumer right?
