console won't open 2004 sport trac

Hey can anyone help me out? I just got a 2004 sport trac and I can't figure out how to open it or if it opens at all

The lid just opens up by lift the front up. Hinges are on the backside. It should be easy to do/figure out…unless the clips/hooks are causing it to lock in I guess, if that's the cause there are 2 hooks on each side towards the front. Maybe try lifting it as much as possible and slide screw driver or something to unhook those clips.
