I have a 1999 Ford Contour with a Duratec 2.5L SVI DOHC engine that needs a new starter motor. I've located it on top of the trans but it's stuffed way inside the engine. Does anyone have any tips or the procedure on how to get it out. Anyone out there ever changed the starter with this engine. This engine was not built to be worked on. Any help is appreciated.
