Convweting universal seat covers into actual seat cover

Hey guys. i was wondering as anyone on here turned universal seat covering into there permanect cover? maybe by glueing or sewing.

the reason i ask is because the leather on the seat is very bad and i love the covers i have but they dont fit right and i cant afford reupholstery.

Look in ebay for the covers custom made for your truck, or try a jy to see if you can get some seats in better condition. I've never seen generic seat covers good enough to substitute the "real" ones... just a thought
