I want / need to perform a flush and fill of my cooling system.
I did a search but only found info on the Prestone kit where you put in the Tee fitting.
I really don't want to go that rout.
Is there a way to flush it all ( cooling , block, heater core ) with out the tee ?

I've used the kit ( prestone ) where you use a cleaner that is run for 6 hours ( non-consecutivly ). It runs thru the block, the heater core ( turn on the heater ), and obviously the radiator. Then you dump it out, run the prestone flush as directed, and fill it up w/ a/freeze.

Another way to do it is to open the heater hoses and flush out the block. Use a garden hose ( turn it on and off to get a " cycling " effect in the water, then go full blast for a few minutes.

Word to the wise, a quick way to check the cooling system is to check the upper hose for dirt/grime/whatever. If it's lined w/ gunk, change the hoses while you're at it ...

Air Purge

The prestone kit also allows you to purge the air in the system much easier. As you pour the coolant into the radiator the air is purged out the heater hose fitting. I never find having to add after the vehicle is run.
