My 94 explorer is running hot (stays on the L of the normal on the gauge unless you rev it high). The coolant is leaking down the engine between the firewall and the engine, but I can't establish the location of the leak. When I cut the engine off I can hear air escaping from the cooling system right around the thermostat housing. I changed the thermostat and the thermostat housing water outlet already. I'm assuming that air leak is where the coolant leak is too, and it is running over the top of the engine and down the back. But, I cannot pin point or see where the leak is exactly. Any ideas?
