Do you see any white residue anywhere on the engine? That can be a sign of a coolant leak as well.
If you really suspect a head gasket, you may want to send in an oil sample to see if any is getting in your engine oil. You can also get a coolant test kit to test for exhaust gases in the coolant (dissolved CO2).
