Hey guys –
I've been following this forum for a while and this is my first post.
So long story short I started doing maintenance on Old Blue during quarantine over the summer. Well, that turned into a full-blown project. That's how it goes I suppose lmao.
I've done quite a bit of work to the old truck. The biggest job I've done is replacing the LIM gasket, valve cover gaskets, etc..and replaced the radiator. So, what I'm saying is that I probably missed something. I did all of this by using this forum, youtube and a haynes manual.
The truck is running great since then, but the problem now is that sometimes there is a little pool of antifreeze/coolant on top of the engine. I've tried tightening all the clamps that coolant runs through, but this is still happening. Once in a while, there will be a few drops of coolant on the ground. Not sure if this has anything to do with having the heater on in the truck.
If you guys could help point me in the right direction to fix this I would be pumped! I attached a pic of where the coolant is pooling. Sorry if it's hard to see. It was difficult to get a great pic of it.
