1994 Explorer XLT
Hello everyone,

This will make my second post but this one is a piece of cake. I have a 1994 ford explorer XLT. My corner light (not really a light, rather it is a reflector) is cracked and broken. I need to have that fixed before I can take it to get inspected (Stupid VA requirements).

I took the light assembly out to look at it and it appears as though the cover lens is glued to the light assembly. It is then attached to a mounting plate in the back. I looked online and all they have are lens but they do not come with any glue or anything like that. I need recommendations!!! I am always hesistant to do anything when glued plastics are involved.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it.

It's as single piece. You need to take the headlight trim off & unscrew the 2 bolts holding the lens on from behind. It's really easy to do. I suggest spending the $15 & getting as hayes repair manual. It outlines how to do it, & is good reference for a ton of other things that will break on your X.
