hey does any body know if a 93 ranger hood will fit a 2nd gen x , i want a cowl hood but it is impossible to find one

Nope. But don't let that discourage you from getting one. You could get a shop to cut the cowl hood part and incorporate it on your eXplorer hood. It'll be on the expensive side but if you want it badly enough, go for it.

I heard EE does not offer them anymore (lack of interest or too expensive). Or I maybe wrong... well, I hope I am, 'coz they do look really good.

The Cowl Hood definitely is available. It is not on our web site yet, but it is in our system. It is a special order item, but it can be shipped out tomorrow. At this point, it looks like it will be available for some time. Let me know if you have any questions.
