Anyone encountered this gem of a problem? I dropped my ex off for service, mainly the ol' clunking transmission and next thing I know the service guy is calling asking if I've been over heating at all. I said no why. He said his mechanic just took my car out to check the transmission and had to call for a tow because the thermostat is cracked. How does this even happen? Im glad it did when they had it.
They did find a couple issues with the transmission though. A stuck solenoid and some other module so hopefully that will start to shift like a normal vehicle again.
