Does anyone know how much gap there is supposed to be between the sensor and the harmonic balance wheel? I pulled my sensor when I was thinking about have the entire engine rebuilt and I'm not running into a very poor running truck that won't idle and is dumping fuel into the CATs. I thought it might be the camshaft alignment since I pulled that as well, but I've check it several times and it certainly seems to be properly aligned. I'm wondering if I have the sensor too far from the crank and it is loosing its signal as it passes some of the teeth.
