what the crap, why not now?

because im not allowed to drive, im not making a 600 mile trip to watch

oops

wow, thats a good idea, lets tell chris that and when something happens they'll never let us have another group run.

good point. bad idea. don't listen to the drunk guy

lol

Everyone who is under 18 and wanted to drive their rigs have to realize that even with a waiver, a claim against Chris or any other owner of a offroad park will stand in court. Those waivers don't protect the owners from any litigation. Just swallow the pride and realize the policies are there to protect the Explorer4x4 family, moderators, staff, etc and the owners & operators of the VROC park.

well ill be there and camping intents with yall, i plann on bringing a bunch of sockets 1/2 and 3/8( pretty much all the sizes you would need to take apart the truck, along with my 3.8 electric impact and i may purchase a 1/2 electric, i will also bring a co2 tank hopefully if myu boss lets me borrow it. and i will bring a cheeta incase anyone blows a bead.

I carry a full set of metric sockets and wrenches... I  my Toyota... No standard nuts and bolts... Everything is metric   I also will have a set of dewalt 18volt tools(impact, hammer drill, sawzall, grinder and circular saw)

Does anyone have a pancake style air compressor? I had one until my friend decided to smash it. I've got a larger one, but it's to big to carry. I'm pretty sure that a 110 volt air compressor will run off of a power convertor for your cigarette lighter. That way you will have mobile power.

Its not the volts you have to worry about, its the amps. You will need an inverter that can handle a decent amount of amps. I was looking at pep boys. They have some that will handle over 10 amps

FYI no waiver is required for the GWNF. I believe that most of the participants wont run Crozet or at least will only run the easy stuff.

We do have power and a welder that you guys can use if you need it. It is not in the field though and room is a little limited.

I fully understand that, I work at a ski resort where sue happy yuppies frequent, I personally have had claims brought against me 2wice (both were dropped, stupid people) Im not mad at anyone but my own dumb luck, ill be 18 less that 30 days after the run. And im also not intrested to run GWNF, I was hoping for some high blues. But oh well, what are you gonna do.

I know, im just bummed.

What do you have to do to be able to run? Do have to have a legal guardian there? What if you got someone to sign for you and be your "Parent" for the weekend, I would think that someone would do it. What about that cool half drunk uncle that everybody seems to have? I've got three. :chug:

If you signed up and can no longer show up for the run please contact me so I can take your name off the list. In regards to legal guardians, its only for people under 18 and quite frankly it would have to be agreed between Rick or myself and Chris about the terms of this agreement.

Is there any way to ask Chris to either link us or give us a pdf of the park admission form to complete in advance.

Did I see that the Misty Mountian Campground was going to have a Bluegrass band Saturday night?
