Cruise control??

I recently purchased a 1998 Explorer sport, this vehicle is a replacement for my fully loaded 96 sport that was destroyed recently by a drunk driver. After purchasing the 1998 Explorer sport I noticed some odd options, she has leather interior a CD player 4.0 liter overhead cam motor, however she is missing cruise control and a tilt wheel, how difficult would it be to install factory cruise control, and would my 96 be of any use for donating parts?
