Hi,

Since ain't series manufacturer producing suspension (coilover) lift kits part numbers for 4'th gens,
I wondered maybe there are small shops & manufacturers taking custom made coilovers projects for off road lifting?
Thinking about it, springs alone might be enough.

Thanks in advance,

A longer spring and special length strut will work, but with how inexpensive strut spacers are I doubt you’ll find any custom shop interest in modifying struts for longer springs.

I'm from a foreign country where strut spacers won't pass annual vehicle inspection.
I'm fine with modified springs alone (will compromise on same travel length with the original shock absorber), such that they will give 2" lift.

You should put your location in your signature info, it will help get proper responses to your questions.
Be sure to let us know how you make out with finding longer springs.

I hoped folks here know places/workshops specialised in tuning springs per car make.

I'm from Israel, regulations here allow suspension lift up to 2", the manufacturer must declare kit fits car model & TUV certificate (I don't know why they decided to adopt German standardisation on that), only certified workshop can install the kit and "2" lift" will be registered in car license.
On annual inspection, for an off roader that looks modified, they will pull out the type and measure you are under 2" lift.
Strut spacers are illegal as well as many more things (like changing tire size, winch also requires registration as well as tow hook, light bars of course illegal etc. etc.)

Those are some strict regulations!
