Ok if you buy the Cut and turned beams for the TTB you are supposed to get around 4 inches of lift and that is with stock springs shocks and no alignment correct.

Say that I buy the The cut and turned TTB and I combine that with a 6 inch skyjacker lift, thats 10 inches for the front. That sounds too easy. What am I missing here.

The brackets breaking from all the stress?

Seriously, the higher the lift on a TTB, the more stress on the brackets.

That's why cut&turn are stronger than lift brackets.

also, to get the 4 inches of lift you'll also need 4" lift coils and longer shocks. So no, you can't use the stock ones.

More than likely you will need to relocate the spring buckets as well. I know if Perry's Fab n Fiber does the work, the TTB will be 2" longer per side when installed (actually 4" longer per side total). They will mount using the stock TTB brackets. You will need lift springs - 4-6" would be fine. The new buckets Perry's has are adjustable - meaning you can change the lift height with the turn of a wrench.

You will get a lot more stability and caster with a setup like this. I am still trying to find the $$$ to do it myself!
