I picked up a 96 XLT the other day and cylinder 5 is misfiring. I was told it could be anything from a plug to a plug wire or coil pack. Is there anything else in the 4.0 that would lead to this issue that may be common? It's also throwing a code saying the coolant is not getting up to temp. I can also tell its not by the gauge. Any ideas? The drivers window will not roll down... figured it was a motor..... but all 3 other windows go down from the drivers control panel, but not when I use their own switches. I figured the switches went out. The window lock was not turned on when I tried this as well. Thanks!!!!

For the windows-
take apart the rubber boot in the driver door jamb to repair the broken wire. I think it is blue with a black stripe

The misfire could be cause by a bad plug, plug wire or even a plugged, or dead fuel injector.

try swapping the #5 and #4 plug wires and see if you move the misfire-

So the wire in the drivers door is causing the switches on the passenger side and back seats to malfunction?
