D30 ?

Ok, so im haveing a problem. im doing a sas on my ex, and the painger side roter is hiting the knuckle. :fire: the driver side is fine. so i was wondering if it wold be safe to use a small wheel spacer to space the roter out frome the knuckle?

take everything knuckles-out apart and see why the rotor hitting the knuckle.

check to make sure there are still bearings between the hub and the spindle

Wheel spacers go on the outside of the rotor (on the wheel studs) so that won't help you. Sounds to me like you might have something in wrong, so I'd disassemble each side and check to see what's up with it. They are both the same type/thickness/etc rotor correct?

ok so i went and took the other side apart and measured the unit bearings. the pas side is a 1/4" shorter . and sorry i ment the small spacers that slide over the studs. think that will work as a temp? the unit bearings are hard to find used and in good shape.

Maybe it's just me but i'm not totally clear on your post, are you refering to wheel bearings or ball joints?
Also, is it your rotor that is rubbing when you spin it or does your rotor hit when you rotate the whole knuckle?

ok in this pic is the unit bearing. the spot where the black line is is 1/4" shorter on this side.

the arow shows where the roter is rubing.

Are you sure you got the right rotors? That looks to be the only thing i can think of. Although i don't know why you'd get two different measurements from side to side. Does the bearing feel pretty tight?

Still hard to say what's wrong there. I'm with everyone else here, take both sides apart and inspect everything.

your unit bearing on that side is bad.. the other side has a gap between the part that spins and the part that is pressed between the knuckle doesn't it? at least the ones on mine do ( I think) .
