D35 Gears and diff from a Gen 2 fit Gen 1

I am wanting to install 4.10 gears and a locker in place of the 3.73 and open diff. Will the Gen 2 parts work?

dont think so but then again im not to aware of rear ends.

In the rear yes beacuse its still an 8.8, but the front wont fit because the 1st gens use reverse cut gears and the 2nd gens use regular cut so no the front wont fit

Thanks for the reply. Where is the best place to buy D35 gears?

I have an 8.8 from a Gen 2 that already has 4.10s.
